Together, we’re making a difference.
Join us on our journey to plant a tree or shrub for every person in the Toledo area - all 282,313 of them (and counting!).
The Holy Spirit Catholic Community recognizes the grave peril that climate change poses to all of creation, but especially the poor and marginalized communities worldwide. Won’t you join us in our effort to combat climate change starting right here in our own backyard?
Where We’ve Been This Year:
This year alone, we’ve participated in dozens of events, including “The Lorax” screening at The Maumee Indoor Theatre, the Native Plant Workshop at The People’s Missionary Baptist Church, the Carbon Footprint Workshop at the Unitarian Church in Toledo, Ohlman’s Farm Market and Greenhouse, the Lucas and Wood Counties Plant Exchanges, the downtown Toledo Farmer’s Market, social just advocate gatherings in Fremont, and various events at St. Rose Catholic Church, Woodward High School, and The Frederick Douglass Community Center. Have an idea of where we can reach more folks? Let us know and we’ll meet you there!
Our Impact

Looking to the Future:
